In this tutorial, I will explain to you just how to whiten teeth in Photoshop with a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer which enables us whiten and brighten teeth at the exact same moment. We’ll start with figuring out how to whiten teeth to get one person in an image, then we will find out the way to whiten the teeth two or more individuals in the same photo using separate adjustment layers. To follow along, you may use any picture where a person’s teeth can look skinnier. I will use this picture which I downloaded in Adobe Stock: The first image. Credit: Adobe Stock. When I zoom in for a closer look, we find some yellow in the teeth, particularly with the person on the left. The two people’s teeth could also use a few drops. We could do both of these items (whiten and brighten teeth) using one Hue/Saturation adjustment layer: The two people’s teeth could be thinner and thinner. The Way to Whiten Teeth Back in Photoshop For this tutorial, I am using Photoshop CC but each step is compatible with Photoshop CS6. But the issue is, everyone’s teeth are different and typically require different amounts of whitening. You will get improved results by whitening one individual’s teeth at a time. I’ll begin with the man on the leftside. Draw a choice around the teeth. Do not worry if it is not the most precise choice because we can easily clean it up later. Just follow around your teeth, staying as close to the borders as possible: Drawing a choice outline round the teeth with the Lasso Tool. Step 3: Add A Hue/Saturation Adjustment Layer Just Click the New Fill or Adjustment Layer icon at the bottom of the Layers panelChoose Hue/Saturation from the listing: Choosing a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer. A Hue/Saturation adjustment layer appears above the Background layer: The modification will be inserted above the image.
